I tried to install the upgrade to 9.A. It shows that I am missing a file. L: ........
1) how to I find this file
2) does the A/L needed to be updated first before I try to do the A/P upgrade
I tried to reinstall the 8.1, which it did. But the file from 8.1 - 9.2 are different.

What file does it say you are missing? Have you tried re-installing Payables 9.2A?

Adagio Payables can be installed without Upgrading Adagio Ledger (although I'm not sure why that would occur).

missing file L:\softtrak\payables.
I need an updated password to install the 9.2A

The password for the Upgrade is in the email with the link to the Upgrade download.

You must install an Upgrade over an existing installed module. The error message says that the install cannot find the Payables module to Upgrade in \Softrak\Payables. The previous version would have been found in \Softrak\APWIN. You should be able to browse to that location in the install.

Are you trying to install the Upgrade to Payables (taking Payables from 8.1 to 9.2A), or the recently released Service Pack to Payables (which updates Payables 9.2A to fix issues discovered in the original release)?

I tried to install the 9.2A service pack, however it does show that the service pack only will work if the 9.2A is installed. I talked to my boss she did not receive an e-mail about installing the 9.2A Payables.
If I can get a password to the Payables upgrade to 9.2A, so you think I would not have an issue with the service pack install ( file will then will be there)?

Contact Softrak Customer Service at 1-800-663-9798 to have the Upgrade email re-sent.

Be forewarned, the Upgrade from Adagio Payables 8.1 to 9.2A is major and will require some planning. You may wish to consult with your Adagio Reseller.
