I have a report set up in Financial Reporter that I created in consolidated, collapsed mode. It covers several departments. All the departments calculate correctly except one. That one department calculates the correct expenses when in collapsed mode but then adds in the first expense line twice when I expand the sheet. It's difficult to compare the two as the SUM range changes between the 2 sheets. I cannot see how it is pickinf up that cell twice and I have no hidden rows.

Any help would be appreciated.

When you expand your sheet, take a look at the SUM formula and the cells that are being summed. I suspect the issue is that you are summing a range of cells that includes hidden rows with non-zero amounts. When a SmartSheet is expanded, the 'summary' row is hidden but could still be (incorrectly) included in the sum.

If you wish to sum multiple groupings of accounts, it is more correct to create the SUM formula for the specific cells of desired rows while the form is collapsed, rather than a range of cells. For example, use =SUM(D12, D16, D20) instead of =SUM(D12..D20).

Or use =VSUM() which adds up only the visible numbers.
