I have this unchecked in the AR profile but when I restore an order from history, I'm given the warning message that the customer is over their credit limit, and then have to click to proceed.

You probably need to bypass the credit check on the Trrms.

I don't when I'm entering a new order. I'm given no warning messages even if the customer is over their limit. Why does restoring activate the warning? And how do you bypass the credit check on terms?

Thanks for reporting this. I can duplicate this. If the warning doesn't show when creating an order, it shouldn't show when an order is created by restoring one from history. I've reported this to R&D for you.
