In previous years, I remember that we had to leave the period open in AP until we had completed our year end so that we were still able to print an Open Payables report for 2 or 3 months previous. Is this still case or did 8.1E change that? I didn't see it in the release notes, however I tested the Open Payables report for a closed month and it seems to be working now. Can anyone confirm?

8.1E changed that. Be aware that if you want to print an Open Payables report as of a date earlier than the last period or year-end, it will take about 10 times longer to calculate than as of a date equal to or later than the last period or year-end. So have patience!
