Hi Erin,
The reason for the error you received is that the data file associated with selected table does not exist in the data directory. Looks like the IC Item Master to me. The first thing to check is whether the data directory and extension you used to sign into GridView has all the data files you expected to be there.
When creating a brand new view from scratch, what dictionaries do you see? Just SalesAnlaysis or others? There is an option in the F2 Defaults to list either all tables or just those related to existing data files in the selected data directory. The latter choice presumes that you have accessed the company data by the respective Adagio program at least once. If you don't choose to 'Show all tables' then you might only see some dictionaries listed for selection and not all - if the ADSPROF file is not complete and up to date. Should this be the case, try selecting the Show All Tables option in F2 Defaults and try again.
Composite tables are tending to become obsoleted. What is the particular table you have selected? If you wanted to do an inquiry on Sales Analysis data and just look up IC for the item description or some other similar field, the end solution may end up being to base your inquiry on the SalesAnalysis Transactions table (not a composite table) and use the Insert Related Data function to grab the specific column(s) from other tables such as the IC Item Master table.
