HI,
I created a new view for a PO Beta table and got an "Encountered an improper argument." error/message after selecting the table and fields I wanted. I clicked OK and everything proceeded fine.

Now every time I create a new view either in my test data or my live data I get this message. Everything works fine after clicking OK but it is getting annoying.

Has this something to do with the Beta or do I have a glitch in my system? Any ideas on how to get rid of it?

Thanks

Can you email me the View? It's likely not a problem with the Beta, but a problem in some other View element.

It happens with any new view I try to create from any of the modules.

Any of the modules? GL? AP? Can you give us a specific example?

I checked all the modules. It happens with every one except GL. I select the module, then a table that I know has data in it, then the first three or four fields from the unsorted list. Right after selecting the fields and clicking OK is when the message pops up. It will also pop up when I select cancel from the 'Select Modules' screen. That's as specific as I can get.

(I am not going to try every table.)

This is not a PO Problem, since it happens with all modules. I'll move the thread.

Mike:

As an educated guess I would say something has disturbed your install of GridView (assuming you are current) or you are not using the current version of GridView, in which case you should have the current version installed. I would try installing the latest version, GridView v9.0F (120925).

I have the latest version of Gridview installed. I was hoping it would be something easy. I'll try re-installing after I check to see if it's specific to my workstation. Thanks.
