I have imported tens of thousands of transactions to Sales Analysis. All the entries that were negative invoices came in as positives. I have wiped out the SR data and tried numerous times with different strategies (CSV/ XLS) with minus signs or brackets, no combination seems to be different. They always come in as positive numbers. As there are over 12,000 records with negative entries, manually updating them is not feasible. Any new entries retrieved are fine, it's only the ones on the import. has anyone come across this before and is there a fix? The hot fix from July does not seem to address this behavior.
Thanks!

Are you importing from CSV or an Excel spreadsheet? What format are your negative numbers displayed in (leading or training minus)? Are the negative numbers for credit notes?

When importing data, you should have a small sample set of data to get all the settings correct before throwing 12,000 records at the process.

I tried CSV and Excel. I tried Brackets and minus signs. I am trying a sample set of negative invoices. They are all invoices with negative numbers - no credit notes.

Hi,

You are able to import credit notes (have a Prefix of C rather than I) with negative numbers.

So are you saying that the import function is not capable of importing Invoices with negative numbers? If so, then that is an issue since all future invoices with negative numbers come across as I (Invoices) with negatives. And these are not credit notes.
