Now I know the client needs to do their upgrades, but I haven't found anything in the release notes that pertains to the issues they are having.

Client creates a batch and immediately entries are showing up for past years, client has to take time to delete all these entries before using the batch because the issue is repeated whenever a batch is created.

What could be causing this and is there a Fix or an upgrade that takes care of this.

This is an old issue that has been addressed in subsequent upgrades. To check, take the clients data and point your current version at it. Run the DIC. Problem should go away. The batch status file is out of synch with the batch file as a result of a problem at some point in closing a year.

Hi Andrew, the client upgraded to 9.0D but the issue is still occuring, I checked the HOT Fixes as well and none were targeting this issue, nor was there anything in the release notes for the upgrades 9.0B - 9.0D.

The data works fine via my laptop using current version 9.0D

Can you tell me if there is another reason and if there is a fix for it?

Please carefully verify that you and your client are running EXACTLY the same version of Ledger. Has your client run a DIC?
