I am using Adagio Invoices V9.0B. I previously inserted a graphic on an invoice specification. When printing invoices this morning within a existing batch, the graphic appeared on the invoice when printed. However, when I created a new batch and selected the same specification, the graphic would not appear or print.

Please help...I have 800 invoices to process!

Can you see the graphic when previewing one invoice from the batch? Or is it a black box?

Printing invoices to your printer will create a print job in size equal to your 800 invoices. When a specification has an image, that graphic will be multiplied 800 times - so a large image will cause a potentially massive print job that could max out the printer memory.

You may need to print smaller groups of invoices. Or edit/shrink your image in a graphics program (such as MS Paint) to the 'actual size' that it appears on your invoice, and reinsert it into your specification, so that 800 invoices gives a smaller print job.

Yes I can clearly see the graphic in previewing invoices from other batches that have printed with no problem. When I open one invoice from the new batch I am unable to see the graphic on preview or print.

Are you sure that you are printing the invoice with the same specification? Old invoices will use the specification that they were originally printed with. Newly created invoices will choose one of the defaults, depending on your settings.

I am trying to insert a bitmap image into the detailed section of my specification.

However, now I am only able to see part of the image on the first page, and then it continues in fragments on odd pages after that. The image has been resized, I have checked the specification, I have watched webinars on "invoice designing" and I cannot seem to solve the problem.

What is the size of the image in bits? I have run into problems like this when I try to insert an image that is very large. You might want to save it with less resolution (ie smaller file size) and see if that works.

and you are wanting to put this in the Detail section where it will print once for every line on the invoice? You may well be running into a memory problem in your printer.

If you remove the BMP does the invoice print properly? If you place the BMP on the header, does it print properly still?

I'm curious as to what form of graphic you'd want to print with every line on an invoice.

I want to put a "watermark" in the detail section to print only once per page. If I remove the BMP, the invoice prints fine. Does the BMP have to be placed in the header section?

Just thinking...is it possible to place a graphic (watermark) in the detail section (to appear once per page) when more than one line of detail is entered.

When preparing invoices with one detail line...the invoices were printing with one graphic in the detail section. When preparing invoices with two lines of detail...that is when I began to run into problems...the graphic would break-up into sections.
