We upgraded a few modules last night, one of them being to Order Entry 8.1E, and have noticed that one of the differences was actually something we quite liked in the old version. Let me explain the difference.

Before we installed the upgrade, if we were printing an Order Confirmation, we would click "Confirmations" along the side bar. A window would pop up, which is called "Printing Order Confirmation". After printing the confirmation, a screen pops up, which says "everything printed ok?" In the old version of O/E, if you said "No", then the window stayed open, allowing you to print the same thing again. If you said "yes" the screen disappeared. We liked this, it made sense. In the current version, does not matter if you say "yes" or "no", the window disappears, forcing you to have to click through the process again to print a second confirmation. Our process sometimes requires that we print a confirmation to a couple of different printers, which switch around, so we really appreciated the window staying open.

In the User Preferences, how is the optional setting for 'Close forms dialog after print' set? If it is set as enabled, you can disable this setting (by user) to leave the form open after printing.
