I am using Ledger version 9.0D (111017) and are not able to post a batch that was created in the ledger and is to be auto reversed in the next month. It is moving the entries to an error batch. When I print the error batch the report shows that there are no errors. I am posting to March 2012, our year end is March 2012, so the reversing entry will be in the new year. I have create a new year and both March 2012 & April 2012 are open. I am able to post batches to March 2012 that do not have the audit reverse, so I thinking the auto reverse is the problem. I have done data integrity check and there are no errors.

It's ok, I read the help and it says you can't use auto reverse in the last period of the year. So maybe this can be added to a wish list of features to have.

Just copy the batch to the New Year, and tick "reverse entries" on the copy dialog and change the date.

You don't need to archive the batch as long as you have created the next fiscal year.
