We recently purchased the Toolkit for Adagio, and it looks great. However the one user whose workstation I installed it on using the workstation setup on Friday afternoon, suddenly can't print from Adagio! She can print from Excel, e-mail etc, but just gets a blank page from any Adagio module (GL, AP, etc). Print preview also just produces a flash on the screen with no visible preview. I don't want to install it on other machines to test yet! Any ideas, suggestions?

Personally, I haven't heard of a Toolkit workstation install affecting reports from that product or others. I'd recommend that you run a workstation install from another Adagio module. You mentioned GL and AP. I assume this user has access to those products and the Toolkit. You could also run \Softrak\System\chksys.exe from that workstation and review the output.

Hi Kevin:
Try some quick trouble-shooting tests:
-Is it the same from all reports?
-Is it the same from all modules (ie. GL vs AP vs AR)?
-Is it the same from Adagio's sample data?
-Was anything else installed on that computer Friday?

The Adagio Toolkit is normally very well-behaved so we have to consider other possibilities too.

From your Adagio dealer, it sounds like chksys identified some issues your report tables.

Thanks, Bob ... yes chksys identified some issues on my PC, however I can still print fine. My colleague still can't print from any Adagio module and we're still working on that. Thanks!

Problem solved .. the user did not have full admin rights to her computer and the Toolkit install must have missed something ... giving her full admin rights and an allwkst install restored her printing ability! Thanks to all who responded ant to our great Adagio friend Garry Beattie for the solution. All is well again in Adagio-land at Tourism and Culture.
