We installed the OE 8.1E update last Friday & have encountered an unexpected printer problem. If a label is printed to our label printer, then the printer for "Picking Slips" changes over to whatever printer was just used for the previous label print job & must be changed back through "Print Picking List/Setup" to the designated printer for "Picking Slips". It is not changed under "Workstation Options".
It was installed on Friday morning before work and did not exhibit this problem until the shut-down system was restarted on Monday. It happens on any workstation or the peer-to-peer server. I checked the behavior on my installation at home & it was the same as work.

I see the behaviour you are referring to as well. In addition, the picking slip printer does not appear to be looking at the Default Pick Slip printer as defined in File / Workstation Options, but rather using the default Windows printer. So something isn't hooked up correctly.

There will be a hot fix released to address this problem. It should be imminent, if it isn't already available now. I believe Adagio consultants should be able to grab this for clients running into this problem (print Picking Slips to a specific printer other than the workstation default).
