My A/R statements lists too much information. They list the original invoice amount and then below it any payments that have been made against the original invoice, but it does not list the balance due for each invoice. It is very difficult to read, and I do not seem to be able to make the change to show it as it used to show, the original invoice amount in one column and the balance due in another column. I have clients with six pages of statements that would easily be cut in half. Please help! My dealer was unable to fix the problem for me

You have complete control over the layout of your statement, and your dealer should be able to help you change the layout. To quickly reduce the number of invoices on the statement, enable the "Outstanding transactions only." option on the print statement dialog.

The detail section on the specfiication needs to be of type 'Without Matching' in order to list the Current Balance of each invoice. When the detail section is 'With Matching', the Current Amount field will display the Original Amount so that the Footer will add up correctly with the applied payments.

Make a copy of your spec, but it might be as simple as changing the Detail section Type.

Jean's all straighten out now. Once I understood what tech support was saying, it was and matter of changing the properties of the detail section - not the properties of the detail itself.
