Adagio is reporting modules are open when all are closed, making updates difficult and, more importantly, placing false limits on our allowed Lanpak licenses.

Here are the details provided by our hardware tech support folks:

Windows 2003 Server

Windows 7 Professional x86 Workstation

On server, open files show up on adagio shares when workstation has Adagio
Modules completely closed. Sometimes multiple instances of the same file
show as open on a server by the same workstation.

Why are the files not being reported closed?

Well, the flippant answer is to "ask Microsoft", but I don't think that would be very helpful! wink

First, some basic questions.
  • Is it only one workstation that is not closing the files properly on the Server?
  • Is it only one specific application where the files are not being properly closed?
  • Is the workstation stable and reliable otherwise, or is the user having to end any tasks using Task Manager?
  • Is this a frequent occurance or repeatable?

...and finally...
  • What versions and modules of Adagio are we talking about?
