The
new version of Adagio Ledger shipped last week. It has a
long list of improvements including:
- Report Favorites and Report Sets to completely automate your Ledger monthend report generation.
- AdagioPDF printer installed to "print" reports to PDF files.
- "Fit to page" in the Financial Reporter.
As a result of several requests from last year's
Adagio Boot Camp and
Adagio Wish survey, you can now also set the g/l transaction reference or description to a constant value when you copy or move a batch. Check out the video that shows you how the changes work.
Just after the end user announcements were sent, we noticed an issue in the new version. This issue will affect you only if:
- You use departments in your general ledger.
- You use Statement Groups to print out your financial statements.
- You have a statement in a group that you print for "All departments".
- This statement is not the first (or only) statement in the group.
If all of these conditions are true, then you will find the financial reporter outputs multiple copies of the same statement.
The download files for Adagio Ledger V9.0D posted after noon on Friday, July 29 were updated to fix this problem. You can just re-download the files before you install the Ledger Upgrade and the problem will be repaired.
Alternatively, if you have already installed Ledger V9.0D and run into this problem, a HotFix is available from your Adagio Consultant.
We're sorry for any inconvenience this causes. I hope we have managed to fix the problem before anyone has actually encountered the issue!
