I have a user running the Ledger on a Server. All of the workstations are running XP and the system works fine. When I installed it on a new workstation running Windows 7 Pro (64-bit) i keep getting a message - Error 1013 occurred when attempting to open GL Global followed by - attempting to perform operation on an unopened GL global file.
Any ideas??
any issues in running on W7.
Thanks
Joe

That error sounds like the workstation/user could not get access to the data. The second error is simply a symptom of the first. My first thought is that the user does not have rights to the data, or the data is locked on the server. Try running the \softrak\system\chsys.exe utility to see if the workstation setup completed correctly, and then use the Read/Write process to ensure that this workstation has the correct rights.

There is no problem running Adagio Ledger on a Windows 7 workstation (either locally or connected to a server), provided that you are running at least version 8.1A. Here is a link to compatibility information on our website.

You may need to get assistance from your Adagio consultant to determine if everything is installed and set up correctly.
