Where do I go to set up system check options so that they appear in the check specifications in accounts payable.

Hi Sherry

Just by the phrasing of your question, I would suggest you go to your Adagio consultant and ask him/her. Or try asking the question in a clearer way - it's pretty hard to understand it the way it's written.

Hi Sherry,

Are you referring to the layout of the system check?

More specifically, Payables Module, Edit Banks, Specifications Tab, System checks field does not have any options. Our system crashed last week and seems we lost security settings and setups of certain items.

Would love to call my adagio expert but he is on vacation until the end of the month. Please help if you can.

You can just click on the drop down to choose the specification you want. If you do not see any in the list, then Adagio Payables is not finding any files that begin AP$*.dat in your data directory. They should have been backed up along with your data.

Thank-you Andrew. That is my problem, the options were gone. So I guess this file was lost when the system crashed. Where is this file be saved? Can I locate it in one of my other companies and copy it over?

As Andrew indicated, check specification files should have been backed up with your data. They will be files that start with the letters AP$.

If you use identical check forms for every company, you may be able to copy these files from another company data set. But if you are not sure about this, it is best to contact your Adagio consultant for assistance.
