We have had a couple of questions on how to use the feature in Adagio Ledger for updating budgets and forecasts directly from the Financial Reporter.

There is a sample financial spec file titled "GL!ForecastGLUPDATE.sam" that contains instruction and examples on how to use this feature. You can copy or import this spec into your data, or play with it in sample data, to see how it works.

We have done a template that allows updating the Budget data with formulas (year/period, rounding) or manually without having to deal with the GLUPDATE formula. It is ready to go, except for adapting the accounts range.
