Situation is Client is behind with audit.
Hence yr1 2008-2009 yr2 2009-2010 yr3 2010-2011

I just provisionally started the new year(yr3) 2010-2011 to allow them to post current data and make reports to board. However they still have audit entries they would like to input for YR1 2008-2009 year.

Is there a way to do that.

I had them working on a stand alone copy of the 2008-2009 which then export the entries and import into the live database 2009-2010. This was how I use to do it in the DOS ACCPAC but with ADAGIO that will not be necessary again.

Problem is when I created 2010-2011 the prior year is now 2009-2010 and they want to post to P&L items and have the comparisons done for reporting purposes.

I have not completed the year end process so I now have (Batch) and (Next Year) on the dashboard to give you a graphical picture.

Thanks

Hi, Edward,

In Ledger 9, you are able to post to two years at a time -- either prior and current or current and next. Once you have opened the Next Year, you are no longer able to Post to Prior.

Have you tried importing the transactions using the File | Import | Transaction function and defaulting the fiscal year being imported to 2009?
