I am using departments and departmental masks in my financial reporter. While I can change the department view/print, I cannot display the departments using the view departments option. I need to create a mask but it appears that one of my files is corrupted or deleted. I tried modifying the GLDTREE file but that didn't help.

Indeed the GLDTREE data file is the one that stores department ranges or masks for use in the Financial Reporter. If you do not have a complete list of your departments, or you cannot create or see masks, then it is possible that this file has become corrupted. What happens when you open the View Departments window and right-click on a department, and then attempt to 'Create a departmental mask'?

You may need to rename this GLDTREE file (with everyone out of Adagio Ledger), and then re-open Adagio Ledger and then the Financial Reporter. This will recreate the GLDTREE data file, but with just the departments and not the masks (which would have to be re-done).
