We have a client who was having some odd data issues when receiving in PO 8.0.

After having them exit the program to do a backup before doing a DIC, we can't get back into the program due to an error:

POA is not compatible with this version of the DOS IR data. This application will now terminate.

What's our next best option to check the data? What file is it looking at to tell me that the IR data isn't current?

The client has Datacare, but when I run it, PO doesn't show up in the list of applications to check - is DC 8.1 (071220) compatible with PO 8.0?

Solution (tested with backup, of course)
- Restore IRGLOB from backup
- Run integrity check, fix errors.
- Update next document numbers
- Test postings
- ta-daa!

It's good to hear that your client is back up and running.

We won't be able to provide much in the way of support until they move to POA V8.1.
