We have just upgraded from Ledger 9.0A to 9.0B. As we print a trial balance report, the account description no longer appears.
Any reason why this would happen?

Someone accidently asked to print the report using the secondary description?

No, I tried printing it with all three options: Desc 1, Desc 2 and Both Descriptions. The description does not appear on any of the reports.

Sounds like you're referring to the Detail Listing report as there are no options to print primary, secondary or both descriptions on the Trial Balance report.

Please check within your server's Softrak\Ledger folder for a ModRP folder. It may be that you're using a modified version of our core report. I just retested and both descriptions, as long as the information was entered, print on the Detail Listing report for Ledger 9.0B (090430) and (090713).

Under Edit | Company profile | Posting/Reports turn OFF the option to remember report settings and try and print the report again. That might fix the problem.

Alternatively, see if the report prints properly with the Adagio sample data (\softrak\leder\samdata).

No, the problem is with the Trial Balance, not the Detail Listing report. I am actually referring to the Account Description, not the journal entry descriptions.

Can you print it to a PDF and e-mail it to me? If you don't have a PDF printer try PDF995.
