Good morning,
We are running Adagio OE Ver 8.1B. Occasionally we are getting an error message: "access violation at address 004661C5 in module OEWIN.EXE read address 000000D"
The program doesn't respond and end task is the only way I can close this error message. N.B. the station that is experiencing this problem is still running on Windows 2000...which I'm thinking may be part of the problem...possibly??
Thoughts & advice please
Thank you

Hi Ilona,

Are there a particular set of steps that make the problem occur? This would be something like 'always for this customer', or 'when I click that button after entering that text' or questions like that.

If there is no discernable pattern to when the problem occurs, it could be related to available free memory on your workstation when attempting to perform a process, or the anti-virus checker hogging resources. Or a number of possibilities (access violation errors are quite generic in nature and don't usually point to a specific cause).
