Our tech department just finished installing the Crystal Reports 8.5 module on our server and now we are running into problems printing some reports. For example, I can't print my invoice batch listing report, but I can still post and print the invoice posting journal report. I haven't run into any other errors yet with other reports, but haven't had to print much else yet. Any idea why that would be happening and how to fix it? Thank you!

Hi, Jennifer,

When you say you can't print your 'invoice batch listing report', which module are you referring to? Invoices, Receivables, Payables?

Also, please provide the version and release date for the module. You can find this information by selecting Help | About from the main menu of the module. The release date is in parentheses to the right of the version code.

The installation of Crystal Reports has overwritten the qrtables.ini file, which contains a particular piece of information for the batch listing report in Adagio Invoices. If you re-install the Adagio Invoices program, that will replace the information.

In general, if Crystal Reports for Adagio is installed, this typically means that other Adagio programs may need to be re-installed.

What symptoms are you seeing when you say you "can't print" the report? Any error messages? Any output? Print to screen OK?

The report will quickly flash to the screen, and then disappear. I can't view it at all, but I can see it quickly flash. No error messages, printing to screen does the same quick flash.

Our IT person did re-install the adagio modules after the Cystal Reports installation.

Hi, Jennifer,

Look for the QRTABLES.ini file in your x:\QRASP folder. Open it using Notepad. Now, scroll through the file looking for the following sections:

[QIB81]
QIA????R=10
QIB????R=10

[QIZ81]
QITAXSUM.type=1
QITAXSUM.offset=0
QITAXSUM.headerAnd=255
QITAXSUM.headerXor=72

You can type the sections directly into the QRTABLES.ini file and save it.
