I need to access some older adjustments that were done in our inventory module..some as far back as 2005. Is there a GridView report that I can make up that will do this? We are using 8.1A version of the inventory module.

Thank you.

Do they exist in the history inquiry?

Hi Barb,

If the adjustments are still in IC Transaction History, then this would be possible.

Also take advantage of the Item Transaction History function, which can search the history file based on many choices, including transaction type, item number and date range.

The problem is that I do not know which item I want to look at. Long story, but need to access a transaction which was done in 2005. I do not know the item number, so I thought if I could pull all transaction history from that year into a GridView report, I could then look for the dollar amount that I am trying to track.

Is this possible?

Yes. Do a GridView on IC Transaction History and filter based on the year 2005, the Transaction Source 3 (Adjustment) and the amount. You could also use the Find (F3) feature to look for specific information.

The Item History function would allow you to look at 2005 Adjustments. There is no 'find' to look for the amount on this screen, but if there aren't too many then you could use this without having to create the GV inquiry.

FYI: The next release of Inventory will have an Excel Direct button on the Item History screen.

Thank you, that worked beautifully. Did not find the transaction I was looking for, but the concept worked as it should have.

Thanks again!
