I tried to copy the FX reports that I created from my laptop to our network server and I've messed something up. I think I copied or moved extra files by mistake. Now I can open FX but I can't open any reports. When I try to open a report I get the error message:
ADS System Error
Unable to find dictionary 'AFDATES@' in the directory C:\Softrak\AFWIN\DATA with the extension 'AFX'. The program cannot continue.

How can I get the program working properly again?

Thanks

Hi Bob,

The financial report files for Adagio FX are contained in the data directory and are all prefixed with 'AF!'.

Does the error occur when opening the Financial Reporter program? Or are you able to open the Financial Report but get the error when opening a particular or any report?

Financial reports rely on the fiscal calendar information, which is stored in a file AFDATE'I.AFX. Perhaps you could start your search for the existance of this file in the C:\softrak\afwin\data directory.

Also try running a Data Integrity Check in FX as this may highlight potential errors in the company data. This can be found under the File menu.

You may need to reinstall the Adagio FX program file if one or system files (such as a dictionary file) was accidentally removed.
