Using GL 9.0A (080402)
We deleted an incorrectly entered account code but when we run our DataCare Integrity the message:

31007-70003 has orphan 8.0 compatible record
Master 8.0 compatible file...1 error(s) found.

This account code has no historical transactions and the only way to correct the error message is to re-enter the account code. We've temporarily made the code inactive but would rather it not be there at all...

Hello Karin:

If you i) delete the Account again and ii) run Data Integrity Check in the GL module, is the "Rebuild" button available (i.e. not greyed out)?

I've not encountered this error before but it seems like the type that Rebuild could fix.

Yes, rebuild did fix the problem!
