We have had Adagio ghosts(in all modules)shown up in inappropiate places (on screen & on reports) from time to time.
With Adagio upgrades over the years, most of the problem seems to be fixed or harmless now. But.....
This One Ghost in our Adagio Inventory we must get rid of. e.g. Item show quantity on backorder(pls note: NO backorder with this item!)really get our purchasing department crazy.
Any help?

Does the Data Integrity Check in Inventory complain about the item?

No.

Does the Data Integrity Check in POA show "QTY on PO" errors?

Is it always the same items that have incorrect values?

Had you been using Accpac Plus IC with the PO module?

Do you do combined receipting; creating one receipt against multiple PO's?

What is the version of POA that you are using? This information can be found in the menu bar of POA. For example, I've attached a screenshot from my version of POA - "8.0 (06-Aug-2008)"

Doing the Data Integrity Check in POA CORRECTED IC quantity on PO'S problem. I am happy now.

Fong if you upgrade your POA to the lastest version you shouldn't have that problem anymore. The latest version POA VER 8, (06 AUG, 2008) seems to have corrected that problem with "ghosts" since I upgraded.
