How do I insure I have the correct serial numbers and key codes to reinstall server application?

Hi Eva,
The codes of each current module installed with the customer details, and registrations, activations are in the \softrak\xxwin\xxwin.ini file for each xx application. The Lanpak details are in the \Softrak\System folder in the ads.ini file.

If you are reinstalling the applications to another server, you should copy out all of these ini files and put in a separate folder. We normally copy back ini into each installed module folder, say in the case of reinstalling the modules, but you must be very careful to ensure that you have exactly the same version with service packs installed. Or alternatively, just cut back in the details needed to the installation screens.

Regards,
Brian

Brian's post, while correct in the fundamental sense, is adequate as long as you know and understand what you are doing as you copy the files around.

If you are unsure about what s required, then installing the applications and re-entering the registration information works fine too.
