Hello All,

I've had the following situation arise with a client of mine.

An employee of theirs was working on an Invoice batch in Payables. She then deleted a batch, and then Adagio started duplicating batches when creating a recurring batch.

When one batch was deleted, it would delete both batches. There is one batch remaining which is now numbered "0" and the following error comes up when they try to delete or edit this batch:

"Error reading from the batch 0"

They are using the latest releases of all modules.

I have not seen this happen before, does anybody have any insight on this one??

Does the data pass the data integrity check? I'll bet "not".

As Andrew indicated, make a backup of your data, run Data Integrity Check, and select Rebuild when the errors appear. Repeat running Data Integrity Check and Rebuild until the data is clean.

The invoice batch control file is corrupted. This is not a serious error, at least not for Adagio (although it is for your client right now).

Yes the data integrity was not clean. We did a rebuild on the data and the error is corrected.

The one thing remaining is that batch "0" is still present. It will let us do an edit of it, but not a delete.

It's not the biggest of issues, as the main problem is fixed, but just curious of any ideas as what to do with it.
