Since we upgraded our Ledger to 9.0, we have not been able to retrieve our Month End Superclerk Batch into the Ledger. When we try to do this we receive the following error message: "The home currency of Supercler 6.1C does not match the home currency of General Ledger"
We checked the profile in both Ledger 9.0 and Superclerk & they are both the same (DOS).

Any thoughts???
Thanks
Liz

Hi Liz,

The batch file that Superclerk is creating likely doesn't have a currency code attached to one or more transctions, and instead is a blank code value. Adagio Ledger checks each transaction in the retrieval batch for the currency code value, not the profile in Superclerk (or other sub-ledger applications).

What you you using prior to upgrading to Ledger 90A? If it was a previous version of Adagio Ledger, the same currency checking would have been in place.

This batch won't be retrievable into Ledger. You'll need to determine which transaction(s) have the blank currency code - whether it's one or a few or all of them - and decide with your Adagio consultant partner what the best next step is.

Hi Liz

If I were you, I would copy your data to a different folder, rename your file SMGLBTCH.xxx (or it might be SCGLBTCH.xxx, I forget), and using the copy, do a test sale and day-end to see if one transaction will retrieve. I have a feeling it will. If so, the problem is not an incompatibility between SuperClerk and Adagio Ledger 9.0, but rather a corrupt SMGLBTCH.xxx file.

Let us know what you find, and I can advise further

Steve
