Inventory Adjustments

Our Inventory Adjustments are no longer appearing in our Historical Transactions. They were until March 20. It may or may not be coincidence that it was around the same time we starting doing our receiving through POA instead of Inventory. We printed and cleared the adjustment audit list in Inventory. Also, printed and cleared the audit list in POA. The receipts are showing up okay and every other transaction except for adjustments. We've entered hundreds of inventory adjustments in the last week because we've been counting for our fiscal year end. The adjustments are reflected correctly in inventory.
Any idea how I can get the inventory adjustments to show up in transaction history?

Update - I posted a couple of Inventory Adjustments today and they appear correctly in Historical Transactions. Therefore, I have a record of Adjustments entered up until March 20 and beginning again today. I lost Historical Transaction records of Adjustments that were entered between March 21 and March 28.
How is it possible for Inventory quantities and costs to be updated correctly after posting adjustments but the Transaction History not show the records? The only thing that was done differently was that we do a multitude of adjustments recently (fiscal year end)and so they were posted in batches of 10 or 15 at a time and entered by different people (i.e. 300 adjustments were entered on Friday, March 28 both downcosting (cost decrease) and inventory increases and decreases.
Can anyone help? Where did these records go? Data Integrity checks good.

Hi Susan,
Were the adjustments entered in Adagio or ACCPAC Plus (or a combination of the two)?

We're running Adagio 8.1A and have been since Jan this year. We were using AccPac 6.1B previous. Since we changed to Adagio in January, we do not do any entry what-so-ever with AccPac. Everything is now being run through Adagio. Our adjustments were entered in Adagio Inventory and successfully appeared in the Transaction History from inception until March 20. For some reason unknown to us, the Adjustments between March 20 - March 28 were entered successfully but are missing from Historical Transactions.
Yes - the adjustment audit list shows the missing transactions.
We print and purge the audit lists from POA every day.
We may have printed the transaction history report for adjustments.. this is very possible. I don't know if we purged the printed transactions.. it's possible. Would that explain why one week of adjustments are missing from Transaction History?

I just printed a transaction history report for inventory adjustments for today and purged the printed transactions and *poof* my transaction history for those adjustments are gone. This explains our missing transactions.
1. Is there a way to restore the purged adjustments?
2. Is there a way to disable the purge after a print option? We could have easily purged our entire history of every transaction type without even knowing it. We are used to always saying "Print" and then "Clear" so that we can keep our transaction history current. This time saying "OK" to Purge, gave us the opposite of our desired intent.

Hi Susan,
Printing the trasaction history is different than printing an audit report. If you had answered "YES" to the purge question after printing the history in ACCPAC Plus, ALL your history would have disappeared. In Adagio, we just purge the transactions that have been printed (although this will be small comfort to you at the moment).
Unfortunately, there is no easy way to get back just the transactions that have been purged from History that I can think of. Perhaps other monitors of this forum might have a suggestion or two.
Sorry.

Hi - Okay - A Valuable lesson learned. Never Purge the transaction history! Question - I opened the Data Set from our Friday back up in Adagio Inventory and there are all of our adjustments (before the dreaded purge mishap). Is there any way to copy and paste these transactions into my current data set??
