I am unable to post in the ledger. The message indicates "file is currently used by another process" There is no one using the ledger.

If you have another function open in Ledger, please close it and try, try again.

I was posting and this message came up. No other applications are in use.

You misunderstood. I want you to close any other function open in the Ledger program: View Transactions, etc..

If only the Post function is open, close Ledger and reopen it.
