I am having a hard time getting my imported statements (from HSBC) to import into my Bank Rec module, which of course has to be set up in order to reconcile the bank.

After going through the Default import, and setting my statement up in the exact same manner, the only thing on my template that is NOT working is the date field. The error reads:

"Invalid Data for field called date"

On the default template the date is set up as YYYYMMDD, but this option is not available when I format the cell.

Thank you for any help provided.

Hi Barb,

Are you getting the statement as an Excel spreadsheet? You ould format the column using a custom format to YYYYMMDD.

Can you e-mail the statement you get from HSBC?

Thanks Andrew, turns out I just needed to play around a bit. All is well now, thank you!
