Hi:

A client has looked at IC Item Inquiry and found 2 different "On Hand" figures.

They say that the "Quantities" tab shows a total figure that differs from the "Qty on Hand" on the "Costing" tab.

I don't have access to their data and cannot re-produce the results here.

Under what circumstances could this occur?

They haven't run Day End in OrderEntry (when costing is applied to shipped items on invoices and credit notes).

Hi:

The problem turned out to be a damaged Item index file. Data Integrity Check failed in Phase 1. The "Rebuild" button corrected the index file and all appears well.
