I have installed Adagio Invoices 8.0A (060328) and Receivables 8.0A (060625) customer demo for a client. I find we are unable to post any invoices, or rather the posting process doesn't properly complete. We can enter an invoice, print it, and then post it. Posting appears to complete o.k., but when you print the posting journal, all that comes from the printer is a sheet with the letters IB in the upper left hand corner. I tried to print preview and only saw the screen flicker, print to screen showed the same results. I tried printing to a different printer. I opened another company data file...same result. I tried at another client's office where I am also running the demo.... same results. Both clients are currently running Accpac DOS with Softrak's Quick Invoice DOS product. I attempted to retrieve the batches from A/R, but there are no batches to retrieve. The batch status report in Invoices shows the invoice successfully posted....
I am unaware of any other issues with the program. Data integrity checks come up clean in both Invoices and Receivables.

Hello,

Firstly, I just want to confirm that you are aware that Adagio Invoices 8.0A is not compatible with Quick Invoice Plus for DOS, and that you were working strictly in the Adagio environment, and that you saw Adagio Invoices go through the conversion process successfully.

Secondly, Can you print these reports from the sample data?

Hi Denis,

This is a known issue in Invoices 8.0A (060328) on sites with that did not previously have Adagio Invoices installed. This will be corrected in the next Service Pack. Until then, you can contact your Adagio Business Partner to obtain updated copies of the Posting Journal report files which will fix this problem.

Hello Andrew...
Yes , I am fully aware they are not compatible. I saw both companies go through the conversion process. I also successfully ran data integrity checks on both. What I do note though, is both companies had open invoice batches when the data was converted. I don't believe we were able to print the journals when those open batches were posted.
I have run the same tests with the sample data, and have the same results...no posting journal... batch status report says successfully posted.
