I need to order new cheques. The new ones will be CPA compliant. I expect that if I am using the most recent AP package, I should be able to set up the new cheques without any problems.

Is there anything I need to be aware of?

Thanks.

In the latest service pack to Adagio Payables, we added "Open Templates" to the specification designer menu. You will find a CPA compliant template available. It may be faster to edit the template than to make all the required changes to your existing specification.

Thanks Andrew.

I find it very difficult to align objects. Is there an option to select MMDDYYYY as a single box? I just can't seem to get the individual boxes to line up. I have trouble aligning boxes vertically as well. "Snap to grid" is turned on.

Thanks.

To align multiple objects in the designer, click on an object that is correctly aligned on the top, left, bottom, or right as you are trying to obtain. Then shift click the other objects to select them (the drag handle will turn grey). After selecting all the objects you are trying to align, right mouse button on the last item and select "Align objects" from the context menu. Align all the items.

To move a group of items up, down, left or right, select all the items to move by holding down the left mouse button and dragging the "lasso" around them. If extra items are inadvertantly selected, then de-select them by shift-clicking on them. Use the arrow keys to move the select group around.

You can turn off the grid snap in the designer under Options | Snap to grid.

And this is really more of a technical support question and should be posted in that forum.

Yes - there is an element to print
