Thank you for your answer to my last post. Perhaps you could list these "quirks" in a special area on your website to save us time???

I have another question.

I created a Sales Invoice in the Invoice Module. It was an invoice that we created to "show" all of the fields needed for an AIA invoice including retainage being held. It printed perfectly. Invoice 17918, job 5159 dated 10/12/05. Total contract=$3300.00. Retainage =$330.00. Current Payment Due this Invoice=$2970.00. However, when posting batches in Job Cost that were retrieved from A/R a batch was posted in JC Billings and Payments applied to job 5159, dated 11/11/05, type is Retainage Document 17918 for $330.00. Sounds logical, but I NEVER created a retainage invoice for that particular invoice, and looking in Invoices, the $330.00 still is not billed out. I am confused.

Help again please.

I figured out what happened. I never realized that the retainage went through job costing before I created the actual invoice.

Sorry for your time.

Hi Karen,

Rather than have an area that lists "undocumented features", I'd rather encourage our clients to let us know right away if an Adagio module does not behave the way they expect. Now sometimes, the behaviour will be right (just not what they expected), but other times they'll uncover an undocumented feature so that we can fix it.

For an example, see the post in the general forum about some items not being exported from Adagio Invoices. This uncovered a problem with the range of items that had never before been reported, and the user had put up with the bug for 3 years!

Just let us know when there's a problem. We'll try and fix it as soon as we can.

Thanks for using Adagio!
