I was wondering if antyone had run into Any Adagio issues with SP2 for Windows XP.

I have been suggesting my clients hold off upgrading until the inevitable problems in such upgrades are better known. (Or am I just paranoid about Microsoft Updates? )

After many years of dealing with problems caused by installing Service Packs (just about everyones except Softrak's) I just about always refuse to install them (unless absolutely necessary) until at least 45 days have gone by.

I am running XP SP2 on a computer just to see how it behaves and have done some limited work with Adagio (mainly reports) without encountering any problems.

Doug:

I'm of the same opinion about upgrades and new versions (again, as you say, Softrak being the exception).

I can't count the number of people who have had problems because they installed, for example, Simply Accounting's newest release in December when they could have avoided most of the problems by waiting until the inevitable service pack is released in January.

BTW, I think there have been unannounced changes to Windows XP since the first release because some of he problems that occurred at that time do not seem to be happening on newly-installed versions.

We have a workstation set up with WinXP and SP2, and our initial testing indicates that Adagio should be OK. Testing has not been 'completed' as of yet.

We also have at least one station running XP SP2 in-house that uses Adagio regularly, so should any compatibility issues exist, I would expect them to appear here.
