I have an interesting problem at a client's site.
The client has a peer-to-peer network (Windows 2000). Two machines involved. Adagio was installed by the dealer to a mapped drive (Q
. When the dealer did the install, he was working as a particular user with full administrative rights.
If you log on as this user, everything works correctly.
However, if you log on as any of the 'normal' users with accounting rights, Adagio seems to work properly UNTIL you try to print a report.
This produces an error message -
Crystal Reoprts for Adagio:
Installation Error
The file '\:\QRASP\QRTABLES.INI' could not be found.
The file in question is in the QRASP directory and is available to the users. They have all rights to the accounting directories and files.
The only thing I notice that seems peculiar is that there is no drive letter in the filespec for the file that 'can't be found'.
As an aside, one of the 'normal' users that cannot print reports also has administrative rights, so I do not think this problem is rights-related.
Anyone got any ideas???
