We are working with a G/L that has many departments (over 40), and we are finding odd behaviour with the Department Drop Down Box in the Financial Reporter design window.

The scroll bar doesn't work, and after selecting one of the lowermost departments and then going back to the dropdown list again to select another department, the list does not draw properly.

Is this a known bug?

Not a known bug, but it is now...

For others reading this posting, this happens when there are enough departments defined so that the list in the Drop-down does not fit on the screen. It took about 50 departments on my monitor for this to fail. If you create a number of department ranges (which also appear in this drop-down) to more than fill the screen, I imagine the same thing will occur.

For now, if you want to print departmentalized statements, and you have Adagio Ledger 6.8B, I would recommend using the Departmental Print function (on the File menu). This will allow you to print for all of your departments and you don't have to use that drop-down field.
