Another issue we thought we would post here...

Everything loaded up on the server without any problem. But when I tried to run the Workstation load (at any workstation), for the invoice and inventory modules only, I got this error:

The Table Directory [L:\3rdparty\working] associated with the install directory [L:\softrak\QIWIN] is not a valid tables directory. Please choose a valid install directory or reinstall Adagio Invoices.

All the other modules installed perfectly and seem to be working without any problem.

Any insight would be appreciative.

Thanks
Don over at Jenko.

Hi Don

You are not registered for Adagio Invoices. Please print the registration form and fax it to our Customer Service department asap, so it does not expire.

On to the problem...
Does this warning message only occur during the workstation setup - or does it also occur when trying to open Adagio Invoices and Inventory?

Did you use the ALLWSKT.exe to perform the workstation setup - or did you use the old wksetup.exe within the Adagio program directory (QIWIN\WKSETUP and ICWIN\WKSETUP)?

For V6.8A, although there should be nothing wrong with using the older wksetup, you should actually use the ALLWSKT.exe, as this will allow you to perform the workstation setup for both IN and IC at the same time (time saver).

I am not sure why this message is being returned, as Adagio V6.8 does not use the 3rdparty\working folder - this was used for older versions.

You can check the registry entries in each station's local drive to see if the path is correct for the report tables drive - by performing the following steps:

1. Go to Start ? Run
2. Type in C:\Windows\regedit.exe, then press OK
3. Open HKEY_CURRENT_USER
4. Open SOFTWARE
5. Open the Softrak Systems entry
a) Select the QRASP entry
b) Ensure the 'System Path' is pointing to the correct drive where Adagio is installed on the Server (L:\). If it is not, then edit it to reflect the correct information.

The 'tables' directory prompted for during the workstation install (ALLWKST.exe) is the report tables drive. This drive is normally the same drive that Adagio was installed to on the Server. When you did the full program installation, you would have been prompted for this information if you did a Custom install. If you did a Standard install, this may have defaulted to the first drive on the Server that Adagio found an 'ASP' directory.

You can check the Server drive to see if it has a QRASP folder. If it does, I would redo the ALLWKST.exe on these stations and enter this drive (L:\) as the report tables drive when prompted, and Adagio should be happy with this.

Good luck!
