Hi Kevin
I have not heard of any issues surrounding the retrieval and posting of batches in Ledger created originally in QCWIN.
You mentioned that you had no problem printing and posting other batches. Could it be that you have the option to 'Require batch print prior to posting' enabled in your Ledger Company Profile - Options screen? If this is so, you must print the batches first before Adagio will allow you to post them.
If this is not the case, have you done a Data Integrity check on the GL data? Have you done one on the original QCWIN data prior to posting those batches in QCWIN?
If this process has been successful up until now, then what has changed? Have you had any power surges, outages or system crashes? Has your station lost it's connection to the Server recently while either posting the original batches in QCWIN or retrieving them into Ledger? If so, this will normally corrupt the data and the DIC should show errors. Do you have a backup prior to posting the batch in QCWIN that you could go back to (i.e. restore QCWIN data from the backup)?
P.S. It shows in your file that you are using the very first release of QCWIN! This product is almost 5 years old now, and I am not sure if it is even Y2K compliant! The fact that you have been running it successfully up until now is great - but certainly it is time for an upgrade? There have been many enhancements and modifications made to QCWIN (now Adagio Checks) since it's first release! It is now a 32-bit Windows application with all the benefits of our other 6.8A version Adagio modules - Backup data, Data Integrity Check and Rebuild right from the File menu! Check it out: Adagio Checks!
