Earlier I asked about an account that was set up as Can AR that should have been US AR. I have cleared the transactions and now am trying to change the account set. I keep getting the message "cannot change account set while there are uncleared posting journals". I think everything is posted. What am I missing? Any ideas?

IN AR, under the "Post" menu, you can print the Invoice, Cash and Adjustment Posting Journals. After you print each one you will get a message asking if you want to clear the posting journals.

Maybe doing this will solve the problem.

Click on Maintenance | Period End. A screen will appear showing you the "Procedures to complete before running Period End".

If you do whatever it says (but ignore the one about printing statements), then you will be able to change the account set at that moment.

Of course, cancel out of Period End - don't actually press Proceed!
