Hi Lori,
Critical errors of that sort typically refer to a corrupted file, so I don't believe you will be able to access it. Your only solutions are to either delete the batch or restore your data from a backup.
Because of the computer shutting down in the middle of invoice entry, some files were not closed correctly, and that is why you are getting a message that the batch is being accessed by the System Administrator.
First, make a backup of your data, as the method of removing the batch involves deleting and recreating data files. Second, if you have any other invoice batches you want to save, you must archive them, as the deleting process must remove all open batch files.
Once the above is done, you must rename or remove all files in the data directory that start with the letters QIB and have the data extension matching your data. This will remove the corrupt batch and the batch control files. Opening Quik Invoice for Windows / Adagio Invoices will recreate the batch control files for you.
Restore any archived batches you may have saved earlier, and you should be ready to start recreating that batch. Just to be sure, run a data integrity check on your data before continuing. Should you have further errors, the above workaround may not be enough to get you past the problem, and at that point, restoring data from a backup or having the data repaired are your only options.
