i did the year end and tried to change the fiscal period, the current account balances has been transfered to historical data but the dates have not changed in the new year. can u tell me how to start the new folder 2007 to post the archieved batched and carry on with the entries.

There are 2 stages to performing a Year End in Adagio Ledger. The first (Close Year) posts all the income statement balances to Retained Rearnings. The second (Change Fiscal Year) updates the fiscal calendar dates for the next year. Have you done both?

In addition, the fiscal period Descriptions (ie January 1, 2007) is not updated by either function. You need to edit the period descriptions manually from within the Company Profile.
