Dayspring Systems is the developer of a Linux-based document management product. We're looking at a possible Adagio Developer Partner relationship. We are interested in getting a sense of the need and interest in document management and workflow among the Adagio user and dealer base, so we're seeking your input and questions.

The product has basic and advanced document capture, search, retrieval, storage/archiving, routing with business rules, and more. The application integration capability can be embedded in Adagio modules to retrieve relevant documents (scanned or electronic) from most any data view, based on one or more fields.

Clients are considering ways to limit the amount of paper reports they produce. Some clients print posting journals and day end audit reports to files and store them in that form rather than on paper.

Some clients would have a need to store copies of source documents - quotes, workorders, bills of lading - connected to receivables and would consider a system that would make them readily retrievable.
