Dear Tracey

It is difficult to say what could have happened to cause this. As I indicated in my last response, the only way to get the check batches to be retrieved into GL is to post them in QCWIN. Once posted, they do not exist in a batch in QCWIN anymore, and, once retrieved into GL, you will not be able to print a GL listing in QCWIN.

There are a couple of ways to post in QCWIN.
1. From the Post toolbar button, you can select "Post batches". If you choose this option, you have an option to select a batch range. If you did not select the whole range of batches, then it is possible that there are still "open" batches that of course, did not get posted, so cannot be retrieved into GL.
2. From the "Edit" Checks menu option. This opens the edit open batches window. From here, you can select which batches to post. If only one batch was selected, (the remainder would still exist in QCWIN if this is so) only one batch would have been posted.
3. From the "Open Batch" window, where that batches individual checks can be displayed and edited, you can select individual entries to be posted. If you only selected some of these checks, then only those ones would have been posted, but the remainder should still be in this batch, ready for posting.

If your individual checks have the Header option "Print check" tagged, then they will NOT post until you have printed the checks, otherwise all checks are available for posting, whether or not you have printed checks for them.

The other thing that may have occured is you have printed the GL listing in QCWIN and have said YES to consolidate. If you have done this, then it may look like there are no entries, however you will see a "Consol. by QC" in the GL batch's Description field. The individual checks have been consolidated into the various GL accounts if this is the case, and will only have 2 entries to conincide with the individual GL accounts.

If none of this helps, you should contact your local Dealer for assistance, as they will be able to help you look into this further. You may have an option to restore from a good backup and perform the procedures again, if a backup was made prior to you taking over this responsibility.
