Could Softrak please look at making the look ups in Adagio not case sensitive? I don't usually have my caps locks on, so when I go into Receivables to look up a customer, which is three alpha, and three numeric, unless I put caps locks on first, I always get an error, which says "customer not found". Other modules are the same.

Hi Barb:

Adagio works that way to be compatible with ACCPAC Plus.

However I agree with you. As Adagio moves away from Plus compatibility, it would be good if there was a option in the Company Profile offering "All Codes as Upper-Case". This will be especially useful for new clients that have never heard of ACCPAC Plus.

I suspect that the development team has this request somewhere in their list of "to-be-considered" topics.

Hi Barb,

A company profile option is on the list. We cannot just force the customer numbers to uppercase because then it would be impossible to access any that have lowercase alphas (which I've seen to separate Canadian and US customers in a database).
